Hibner , his wife and son, Iosub Hibner , and his fourgrandchildren were killed by soldiers and peasants in Igesti-Suceava .A great number of murders were committed on trains, especially along thetracks of Moldova. The Jewish passengers, primarily soldiers, were shotdead, and their corpses left in the fields. A large number of Jews werethrown out of moving trains: some of them died painful deaths, otherswere left crippled.163
