In all patients, one bag is used to make acetabular construct,and ano<strong>the</strong>r to form <strong>the</strong> cement mantle around <strong>the</strong> femoral stem, and finally a third bag tocement <strong>the</strong> components to bone.One <strong>of</strong> twelve cases showed persistent infection (pathogen was polymicrobial) and requiredano<strong>the</strong>r second stage debridement with re-insertion <strong>of</strong> ano<strong>the</strong>r temporary construct followed byintravenous antibiotics and later implantation <strong>of</strong> permanent pros<strong>the</strong>sis after 6 months interval atthird stage.
