In all patients, one bag is used to make acetabular construct,and another to form the cement mantle around the femoral stem, and finally a third bag tocement the components to bone.One of twelve cases showed persistent infection (pathogen was polymicrobial) and requiredanother second stage debridement with re-insertion of another temporary construct followed byintravenous antibiotics and later implantation of permanent prosthesis after 6 months interval atthird stage.
