The intent is to demonstrate <strong>the</strong> immediate and clear advantages especially in<strong>the</strong> postoperative surgical minimally invasive front.Methods:The authors present a randomized study <strong>of</strong> thirty cases <strong>of</strong> patients <strong>under</strong>going surgery forosteoarthritis <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> hip pros<strong>the</strong>sis with primary surgical minimally invasive front compared to agroup <strong>of</strong> 30 patients <strong>under</strong>going surgery with direct surgical side. All patients had <strong>the</strong> samecementless implants and instruments with <strong>the</strong> same surgeon. Patients were <strong>the</strong>n evaluated infour different times: before surgery, immediate postoperative, after 1 week and 4 months aftersurgery.Results and conclusions:The experience <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> authors on <strong>the</strong> surgical front shows <strong>the</strong> immediate and clear advantagesin postoperative species by saving <strong>the</strong> muscle tissues, little pain, little bleeding, more quick andeasy re-education and rehabilitation.file:///E|/<strong>ISTA</strong>2010-Abstracts.htm[12/7/2011 3:15:47 PM]
