Heserved as executive director and executive vice president of Industrial and Commercial Bankof China Limited (ICBC) from October 2005 to July 2010. Mr. Zhang served as executivevice president of ICBC from 2000, assistant president of ICBC, general manager of HumanResources Department from 1997, deputy general manager of ICBC Liaoning Branch andgeneral manager of ICBC Dalian Branch from 1994, chief of the Accounting Division anddeputy general manager of ICBC Liaoning Branch from 1986. Mr. Zhang joined ICBCin 1984, and joined the PBC in 1971. Mr. Zhang is also vice chairman of the BankingAccounting Society of China and vice chairman of Financial Planning Standards Council ofChina. Mr. Zhang graduated from Liaoning Finance and Economics College and obtained amaster’s degree in economics and a doctorate degree in finance from Dongbei University ofFinance and Economics.Ms. Liu has served as a supervisor since September 2004 and served concurrently asdirector of board of supervisors office since November 2004. Ms. Liu was a dedicatedsupervisor of deputy director-general level at the board of supervisors of China ConstructionBank from July 2003 to September 2004, dedicated supervisor of deputy director-generallevel at the board of supervisors of the People’s Insurance Company of China and ChinaReinsurance Company from November 2001 to July 2003. Ms. Liu is a senior economistand graduated from Hunan Finance and Economics College with a bachelor’s degree infinance in 1984. She graduated from postgraduate finance programme of Shaanxi Financeand Economics College in 1999 and from the Research Institute for Fiscal Science of theMOF with a doctorate degree in public finance in 2008.Mr. Song has served as a supervisor since June 2010. He served as an independentnon-executive director of the Bank from September 2004 to June 2010. Mr. Song is aprofessor and supervisor for doctorate students and co-chairman of China Centre forFinancial Research at Tsinghua University. Mr. Song has been the dean of the departmentof international trade and finance of School of Economics and Management at TsinghuaUniversity from 1995 to 2006. He was an associate professor and director of the Divisionof International Trade and Finance of the same school from 1988 to 1992, and served as alecturer and the dean of the management department of Jiangsu University of Science andTechnology from 1982 to 1988. Mr. Song obtained his bachelor’s degree in computationalmathematics from Peking University in 1970, his master’s degree in enterprise managementfrom Shanghai Jiaotong University in 1982, and his Ph.D. degree in systems engineeringfrom Tsinghua University in 1988. He pursued his post-doctorate research at the Universityof California, Riverside, from 1992 to 1995.Mr. Zhang has served as a supervisor since August 2011. He has served as generalmanager of the disciplinary and supervisory department of the Bank since March 2007.He served as deputy general manager of the human resources department of the Bankfrom June 2005 to March 2007(general manager level at the head office), deputy generalmanager of the human resources department of China Construction Bank from February2001 to June 2005, and deputy general manager of the personnel and educationdepartment of China Construction Bank from December 1996 to February 2001. Mr. Zhangis a senior economist.
