The most significant contributions to IVA, as<br />

depicted in graph 19.5 came from manufacturing<br />

establishments employing 100 or more persons,<br />

with a total contribution of 57%. Small<br />

establishments (those employing up to<br />

19 persons) still contributed a significant 19% of<br />

total IVA. The greatest contributors to IVA among<br />

larger establishments were food, beverage and<br />

tobacco manufacturers, contributing 77% of total<br />

IVA generated by larger establishments. In<br />

contrast, this industry subdivision contributed<br />

only 6% of IVA generated by small establishments.<br />

Among small establishments the largest<br />

contributing subdivision was Other<br />

manufacturing (46%).
