A beautifully illustrated basic text on plant physiology also covering cell structure (Chapter 1),<br />

including membranes (Chapter 4). Photosynthesis (Chapter 13), respiration (Chapter 12) and control<br />

and coordination in plants (Chapter 15) are also included. Although taking the student further than A<br />

level, the text is very readable and covers the essentials required for A level.<br />
