(57) Abstract : Method and composition are provided for effective relief of pain on topical application. The
composition comprises a synergistic composition and the method of making the same is disclosed. The
composition contains an anlgesic, anti-inflammatory agent diclofenac, and at least one synergistic
rubafacients in a topical gel formulation. The synergistic rubafacient may include menthol, methyl
salicylate, oleum lini, capsaicin etc.
