sprayer housing defining a cavity therein, with an air orifice <strong>and</strong> a liquid orifice being defined<br />

through said housing the housing further defining a plug seal;<br />

a valve contained within the cavity, the valve defining an air passageway, <strong>and</strong> an outlet orifice, the<br />

valve being slidable along a longitudinal axis between an open position <strong>and</strong> a closed position, said<br />

longitudinal axis between an open position <strong>and</strong> a closed position, said longitudinal axis being<br />

generally aligned with the outlet orifice;<br />

the plug seal configured to seal the stem portion <strong>of</strong> the liquid passageway <strong>and</strong> the stem portion<br />

configured to seal the liquid orifice when the valve is in the closed position;<br />

the liquid passageway communicating with the mixing chamber <strong>and</strong> the liquid orifice in the open<br />

position <strong>of</strong> the valve;<br />

the air passageway communicating with the mixing chamber <strong>and</strong> the air orifice in the open position <strong>of</strong><br />

the valve; <strong>and</strong><br />

wherein the mixing chamber is out <strong>of</strong> communication with the liquid orifice <strong>and</strong> the air orifice<br />

when the valve is in the closed position.<br />
