(57) Abstract : A staircase climbing mechanism
having a continuous ramp referred to as the
overturning track, characterised in that the said
overturning track having a shape of a rectangular
frame whose shorter sides have been made semicircular
and the structure has been given a depth.
The overturning track is having a toothed inner
surface and the outer surface is covered by
serrated rubber to provide necessary grip to the
overturning track. A toothed sprocketed wheel
inside the overturning track is such that the
toothed inner surface of the said overturning track
is in mesh with the sprocketed wheel keeping the
