(57) Abstract: Disclosed is a non-bleaching laundry direct application detergent product providing
improved maintenance and/or restoration of colour fidelity during the wash, which product is
obtainable by extrusion and which comprises surfactant, builder, optionally other non-bleach
detergent ingredients, and from 0.01 to 5.0 wt% of a compound of the formula (I) wherein Y is H
or OH and X is H or a solubilising cation.
