(57) Abstract : The invention relates to a cleaning/washing composition having a system of at least two
liquids, which are present above their mutual miscibility limits, such that the composition is not a single
homogenous clear phase. It specifically relates to a cleaning composition comprising:
i. a non-polar phase comprising one or more liquids having an electric dipole moment less than that of water
wherein at least 10% of the said non-polar phase has an electric dipole moment greater than 0.8 debye;
ii. a polar liquid;
wherein the non-polar and polar liquids are present at levels above their mutual miscibility limits, such that they form at
least two immiscible phases.
