(57) Abstract : An improved process for preparation of a composition comprising fixed dose combination (FDC) of
four anti-tubercular drugs viz. rifampicin, isoniazid, pyrazinamide and ethambutol hydrochloride, which improves the
dissolution of poorly soluble drug rifampicin and hence improve its bioavailability. It further provides an improved
process for preparation of a composition comprising fixed dose combination (FDC) of four anti-tubercular drugs viz.
rifampicin, isoniazid, pyrazinamide and ethambutol hydrochloride, which improves the dissolution of poorly soluble
drug rifampicin and hence improve its bioavailability, without use of a surfactant.
