(57) Abstract : The present invention relates to development of system/formulation to protect skin from
ultraviolet radiation (UVR) exposed damage, anti-ageing as well as controlling skin colour by differentially
regulating genes responsible for such behaviour changes on exposure to UV. The invention also relates to
identification and synthesis of novel genes for use in such system/formulation to control/monitor the above
said skin conditions. The invention further relates to method of treating skin conditions based on
identification of genes differentially regulated by exposure to UVR based on identification of skin conditions
based on states of such differentially regulated genes.
