The present invention provides a process for imparting colours to colourless gemstone minerals
and enhancing properties of gemstone-minerals by coating a film of a particular material or
multiple films of different materials on the gemstone minerals and then subjecting said coated
minerals substrate to heat treatment to obtain the desired colour substrate. The present invention
also relatels to mineral gemstone prepared by this process.
