(57) Abstract : A device useful for supporting and clamping function in Welding, Assembly, Checking
Fixtures for holding sheet metal parts is disclosed. The supporting function is achieved using Wedges (12)
and hence is more accurate, fast and rigid.
The toggle clamping function is provided with guided Clamping Arm (8), Eccentric Pin (14) and Bronze
Bushes (13) thus resulting in smooth, repeatable, long life operation with feasibility of prolonging the life.
