A device for preparing mocha coffee is disclosed. The device comprises cooking vessel, an
electrical heating body electrically insulated supported relative to the cooking vessel, however,
thermally coupled to the cooking vessel, and a temperature sensor. A motor driven stirred rod (3)
protrudes into the cooking vessel (2). A blade (4) of the stirrer rod (3) is effective for the stirring
of the mocha coffee and is disposed immediately above the heating body(5).
