(57) Abstract:
The invention relates to a space heating system (3) comprising a
first heating subsystem (4) with at least one first heat source (5)
with an integrated heat source heat exchanger, heat transfer
devices (12) mounted at a distance from the heat source (5) in
only at least one room (11) of the building as the radiators with
outer heat transfer surfaces (13) and pipe conduits (14, 15) as the
flow pipes and return pipes between the heat source heat
exchanger and the heat transfer devices (12). The pipe conduits
(14, 15) of the heat source heat exchanger and the heat transfer
devices (12) contain a flowable heat transfer medium. The space
heating system (3) further comprises a second heating subsystem
(16) with a second heat source and a heating control (18) with at
least one temperature control and one switch unit for switching
off or switching over the heating subsystems (4, 16) for an
individual operation, or for switching on a heating subsystem in
addition to the other heating subsystem for a common operation.
The invention is further characterized in that the second heating
subsystem (16) comprises a radiation heater with an electrically
activatable coating as the radiation surface (17) that is directly or
indirectly applied to at least part of the outer heat transfer
surface (13) as a two-dimensional coating so that the heat
transfer device (12) constitutes a component of both the first
heating subsystem (4) as well as an integral support of the
coating as the radiation surface (17) of the second heating
subsystem (16).
