This contemporary allegory offers a modern solution to the problem,
which has haunted mankind since the dawn of time. Death the Grim
Reaper descends upon a very old women, she seems ripe enough to
be harvested. But appearance can be deceitful; this is one old woman
who knows how to cope with death.
Korunkbeli allegória, mely modern megoldást kínál az emberiség idõtlen
idõk óta kísértõ problémájára. A halál, a könyörtelen kaszás minden
öregasszonyra lecsap, aki megérett az aratásra. Ám a látszat néha csal.
Filmünk öreg hölgye tudja, hogyan kell megbirkózni a halállal.
Ignacio FERRERAS • was born in 1972 in Argentina and grew up in
Spain. He has worked as an illustrator in Spain, Australia and Japan,
before moving to the UK, where he studied animation at the Surrey
Institute of Art and Design. After graduating, he was an animator
and storyboard artist. In 1999 he was selected to be one of the MOMI
Animators in Residence, London. Whilst in residency, he developed
the idea for „How To Cope With Death”, which is Ferreras’ first film.
1972-ben született Argentínában, majd
Spanyolországban nevelkedett. Elõbb
illusztrátorként dolgozott Spanyolországban,
Ausztráliában és Japánban, majd
Angliába költözött, ahol a Surrey Institute
of Art and Design animációs szakán tanult.
Tanulmányai végeztével animátorként
dolgozott. 1999-ben Londonban beválasztották
a MOMI animátorai közé.
Ekkor dolgozta ki a „Hogy kell túlélni a
halált” ötletét, amely elsõ filmje.
