Page templates can be applied to a Web page in one of the following ways:<br />

► By specifying the template when you use a wizard to create the page. This is<br />

true regardless of whether you are using the wizard from a navigation view, a<br />

tool bar or the Web Site Designer.<br />

► By using the Web Site Designer. You can apply a template as you create<br />

pages or to existing pages as you add them to the Web Site Configuration.<br />

You can also apply or replace templates to pages already in the configuration.<br />

► By using the Page Designer. With the page open, select Page -> Page<br />

Template. You can apply, replace, or detach the template. You also have the<br />

option of opening the template for modification.<br />

A default page template can be specified when you create a Web project. If you<br />

specify a default template, it will be automatically selected when are given the<br />

option in wizards to select a template for a page.<br />
