7.2.2 Web perspective<br />

The Web perspective is the main perspective used for editing the source of<br />

servlets. If you double-click a servlet from the Project Navigator view, the servlet<br />

will be opened in the Java editor. While editing the source of the servlet in the<br />

Java editor, the Outline view can be used to view the structure of the servlet.<br />

The Java editor is used to edit the source code of your servlet. It is similar in<br />

nature to Page designer.<br />

The Java editor also provides specialized features for editing Java code. The<br />

editor includes the following features:<br />

► Syntax highlighting<br />

► Content assist<br />

► Code formatting<br />

► Quick Fix<br />
