More information
The Web site of the UDDI organization is rich in content; you can find all UDDI
specifications there; for example, the data model and API for Versions 1 and 2.
Moreover, there are technical white papers, a best practices section, and an
informative list of frequently asked questions:
http://www.uddi.org
Two registries that you can take a look at are:
► UDDI Business Registry
http://www.ibm.com/services/uddi
The UDDI Business Registry is an open, e-commerce service registry
maintained by a group of companies, called operators, that have pledged to
share all public information about registrants among themselves and with
users of the service and to maintain interoperability among the multiple peer
nodes of the UDDI service network.
► IBM Test Registry
http://www.ibm.com/services/uddi
A registry for developers to experiment with the technology and test their
services.
It is worth noting that these registries use a slightly different terminology than the
UDDI object model exposed to API programmers:
► Business service instances are called businesses.
► Business services are called services.
► Binding templates are called access locators.
► tModel instances are called service types.
