Import the sample<br />

The OnlineCatalog application is contained in OnlineCatalog.war. To view or run<br />

the sample you need to import it into Studio Site Developer.<br />

To import the sample:<br />

1. Start Studio Site Developer by selecting Start -> Programs -> <strong>IBM</strong><br />

<strong>WebSphere</strong> <strong>Application</strong> <strong>Server</strong> - Express V5.0.2 -> Studio Site Developer<br />

on Windows, or by /opt/<strong>IBM</strong>/<strong>WebSphere</strong>Studio/wasexpress on Linux.<br />

2. Take the default workspace location.<br />

3. Open the Web perspective by selecting Window -> Open Perspective -><br />

Web.<br />

4. Select File -> Import.<br />

5. Select WAR file and click Next. This opens the Import dialog.<br />

6. Browse to the OnlineCatalog.war file you downloaded and click Open.<br />

7. Click New... to define the new project name. Enter OnlineCatalog. Check the<br />

Configure advanced options box and click Next.<br />

8. Enter OnlineCatalogEAR as the EAR project name. Verify that the J2EE level<br />

is 1.3.<br />

9. Click Next.<br />

10.On the Features page, check Add Struts support and JSP Tag Libraries<br />

and uncheck Default style sheet (CSS file).<br />

11.Click Finish. This creates the OnlineCatalog Web project and the<br />

OnlineCatalogEAR enterprise application project.<br />

12.Click Finish to complete the import process. The OnlineCatalog WAR file will<br />

be imported and added to the OnlineCatalogEAR application.<br />

Import the .website-config file<br />

The .website-config file is used to define the structure and navigation site and is<br />

placed in the root of the Web project.<br />

1. While still in the Web perspective, right-click the OnlineCatalog project and<br />

select Import... from the context menu. This opens the Import dialog.<br />

2. Select File system and then click Next.<br />

3. Locate the .website-config file and verify that the Into folder field is specified<br />

as OnlineCatalog.<br />

4. Click Finish. When prompted to overwrite the file click Yes.<br />
