If a server is set as the preferred server for a Web project, it will be<br />

automatically started when you select Run on <strong>Server</strong> for the Web module.<br />

13.7.2 Stopping the server<br />

If you want to stop the server, select the server in the <strong>Server</strong>s view, and then<br />

select Stop from the context menu, or use the “stop the server” icon ( ).<br />

13.7.3 Restarting the server<br />

You need to restart the server when the server is started and one of the following<br />

situation occurs:<br />

► Changes are made to a file. However, if the file is a JSP file, an HTML file, a<br />

JPEG file, or a GIF file, you do not need to restart the server.<br />

► Changes are made to the server configuration, such as the port number.<br />

► Changes are made to the Web module, such as adding a JAR file.<br />
