Validating the XSL file
Another useful feature of the XSL editor, as in the rest of the editors, is the
incremental validation feature. At any point during your development of an XSL
file, you can invoke the Validate process to validate the file. Just right-click the file
name in the Navigator view and select the Validate XSL File option. In addition
to the manual invocation of the validation process, the validation is also
automatically run when you save the document. Any validation errors will be
reported in the Task view with a little red marker for the corresponding line in the
source code of the XSL file.
10.2.4 XML sample applications in Studio Site Developer
If you are new to working with XML, an excellent way to become familiar with the
process is to try out some of the sample applications shipped with Studio Site
Developer.
You can import the samples to your workspace with the New File wizard. Simply
select New -> File -> Other -> Examples. Select the XML folder on the left and
choose one of the samples.
