9. Execute Step 2 -RunSalesapp.cmd.<br />

Create the test server environment<br />

To create the test server environment:<br />

1. In the Web perspective, open the <strong>Server</strong>s view.<br />

2. Right-click in the view and select New -> <strong>Server</strong> and <strong>Server</strong> Configuration.<br />

3. Enter a <strong>Server</strong> name (LocalTest<strong>Server</strong>, for example) and select the Express<br />

Test Environment option under <strong>WebSphere</strong> version 5.0.<br />

4. Click Finish.<br />

Configure a data source<br />

The JSPs used within the Online Catalog sample use a data source for all<br />

database connections. To setup a data source in Studio Site Developer:<br />

1. Open the <strong>Server</strong> perspective.<br />

2. From the <strong>Server</strong> Configuration view, right-click the <strong>WebSphere</strong> Express V5.0<br />

Test Environment server and select Open from the context menu. This opens<br />

the server configuration editor.<br />

3. Click the Data source tab. The Data sources page is displayed.<br />

4. Click Add... beside the JDBC provider list table. The Create a JDBC Provider<br />

dialog opens.<br />

5. Select <strong>IBM</strong> DB2 from the Database type select box and then select DB2<br />

JDBC Provider from the JDBC provider type select box.<br />

6. Click Next.<br />

7. Enter the value DB2 Driver in the Name field.<br />

8. Click Finish. The JDBC provider is added to the list box.<br />

9. Select the DB2 Driver entry from the JDBC provider list and then click Add...<br />

beside the Data source defined in the JDBC provider selected above<br />

table. The Create a Data Source dialog opens.<br />

10.Verify the DB2 Legacy CLI-based Type 2 JDBC Driver is selected as the<br />

JDBC provider type and verify that the Version 5.0 data source radio button<br />

is selected.<br />

11.Click Next.<br />

12.Enter SALESAPP in the Name field.<br />

13.Enter jdbc/salesapp in the JNDI name field.<br />

14.Click Next.<br />
