This configuration allows access to all hosts. To limit access, list the hosts and network mask that identify the addresses and use the Allow or Deny keywords. All other requests are denied. 16.6.1 Implementing SSL for IBM Agent Controller communications When you install the application server component of WebSphere Application Server - Express, the system is inspected for a copy of the Global Security ToolKit (GSK). If one is not already installed, a copy will be installed with Express. Express installs the GSK at the following locations: ► Windows: C:\Program Files\IBM\GSK5 ► Linux: /usr/local/ibm/gsk5 By default, SSL is not used between Studio and the agent. To turn on this function in Linux, do the following: cd /opt/IBMRAC/bin export JAVA_HOME=/opt/IBM/WebSphere/Express/AppServer/java ./RACSecurityOn.bat To turn on this function in Windows: 1. Execute /bin/RACSecurityOn.bat on the application server. You will need to include the install path for WebSphere Application Server - Express as part of the command: \bin\RACSecurityOn.bat (If you want to turn security off, use RACSecurityOff.bat.) 2. The script will ask you to enter the directory path of the GSK. Once you enter the path, the RAC configuration file will be updated with a security stanza and RAC will be restarted.
