3. Enter the EAR file name to export the resources to. A possible location is the<br />

/installableApps directory of the Express <strong>Application</strong> <strong>Server</strong>,<br />

but you can export to anywhere in the file system.<br />

4. Make sure that the three options are deselected. Because the EAR file will be<br />

used in a production system, we do not want to include the source files or the<br />

meta-data.<br />

5. Click Finish to export the EAR file. The EAR file will be copied to the new<br />

directory. Notify the administrator of the application’s location and provide any<br />

information needed to install, for example, the name and location of<br />

databases used.<br />

13.8.2 Exporting an enterprise application using FTP<br />

To export project resources to an FTP server, do the following:<br />

1. Select File -> Export.<br />

2. In the Export dialog, either double-click FTP or select FTP and click Next.<br />
