YUMPU automatically turns print PDFs into web optimized ePapers that Google loves.

Although this wizard allows you to create the Web module, it does not take
you through the same process as you would see in the Create a New Web
Project wizard. Because of this, we found this method of creating an
enterprise application project to have limited usefulness. As you will see in the
next two bullets, there are other ways to create an enterprise project that we
find more useful.
If you do use this method, you will be automatically switched to the J2EE
perspective. Be sure to switch back to the Web perspective to continue
working on the Web project.
► Create the enterprise application as a part of the Create a New Web Project
wizard. This is the method we will use in this example.
► If you are importing a Web project, you can create the enterprise application
as you go through the import wizard.
We recommend that you start by creating the Web project and let that wizard
create the enterprise application project for you.
4.3.2 Creating a Web project
To illustrate creating a Web project (Web module) we will use the Online Catalog
example. From the Web perspective, do the following:
1. Select File -> New -> Dynamic Web Project (or select New -> Project ->
Web -> Dynamic Web Project from the context menu in the Project
Navigator view).
2. Enter the project name, OnlineCatalog, and verify that the Configure
advanced options check box is selected. Using the advanced options will,
among other things, allow you to select the enterprise application for this
project.
