artigianali, BiRen ha raggiunto alcune delle più ambite posizioni: nella
categoria “Birre con frumento maltato, di ispirazione tedesca”, la weizen
Charlotte ha vinto il 1° posto nel 2012 e il 2° posto nel 2011,
mentre la weizenbock Extra-Charlotte ha raggiunto la 4°posizione
nel 2011; nella categoria dedicata alle “Birre affumicate”, l’affumicata
Tosco si è classificata 5° sia nel 2012 sia nel 2011; infine nella categoria
“Birre a bassa fermentazione”, la pilsner Philippe si è classificata al 2°
posto nel 2010. Questi importanti riconoscimenti ed i trend in continua
crescita degli ultimi anni danno ragione al Birrificio Renazzese,
che continua a perseguire i propri obiettivi di ricercatezza delle materie
prime e di qualità e artigianalità del prodotto. Fortunatamente gli
ultimi eventi sismici non hanno danneggiato il birrificio in maniera significativa.
Tuttavia questi accadimenti hanno spinto il BiRen ad affrontare
nuove sfide; infatti la storia di BiRen è piuttosto recente e gran
parte della rete commerciale è distribuita nel territorio locale, che è
costituito da piccole realtà: molte attività private, come locali e pub,
sono state colpite dal terremoto e alcune importanti manifestazioni
pubbliche e tradizionali feste paesane, alle quali BiRen partecipava,
sono state cancellate dal calendario degli eventi. BiRen, come tutti
quanti in questo particolare momento, confida nella generale ripresa
del territorio emiliano - romagnolo, e spera che nuovi curiosi vogliano
conoscere da vicino le sue birre artigianali e diventare così nuovi sostenitori
affezionati del Birrificio Renazzese “BiRen”. E’ davvero facile
scoprire quanto è contagioso l’amore per la buona birra!

reached some of the most desirable positions: in the category
"Beers with malted wheat, German-inspired", the weizen
Charlotte won the 1st place in 2012 and the 2nd place in
2011, while the weizenbock Extra-Charlotte reached the 4th
place in 2011; in the category "Smoked beers," the smoked
Tosco was ranked 5th in both 2012 and 2011; finally in the
category "Low fermentation beers," the pilsner Philippe was
ranked 2nd in 2010.
These important awards and the growing trend of recent
years agree with the Renazzese Brewery, which continues to
pursue its goal of refinement and quality of raw materials
and craftsmanship of the product.
Luckily, the last earthquake has not damaged the brewery
significantly. However, these events have forced BiRen to
face new challenges. BiRen is a fairly recent business and
most of its commercial network is distributed in the local
area, which consists of small businesses: many private activities,
such as clubs and pubs, were affected by the earthquake,
along with some major public events and traditional festivals.
Biren, like everyone else in these though times, believe
in the recovery of the Emilia Romagna region, and hopes
that curious people would desire to know its craft beers, becoming
loyal supporters of this new brewery. It is really easy
to discover how contagious the love for good beers can be!
