Pimpa acts on a stage that faces
the sea, and weaves together
stories that are both fun and
paradoxical. She is flanked by a
theatre filled with actors and
with figures like those from a
shadow play and an operetta.
Each of the three main
characters has its own double in
the form of a puppet, which
prolongs and amplifies the
narrative. The result is a
show of great visual
impact, supported by a
rich sound track that
has been composed
for the occasion by
the maestro, Carlo
Boccadoro.
