Dal 20 maggio al 16 agosto, il Galata Museo del Mare ospita la mostra
Racconti al vento di Stefano Lanzardo (a cura di Beatrice Astrua e Cinzia
Compalati). Dalle vele dell’“Amerigo Vespucci” all’installazione site specific
Water Body, fino alla selezione di fotografie realizzate con la tecnica del
light brush, le tre sezioni riflettono le tre anime dell’artista spezzino, in
bilico tra fotografia professionale e sperimentazione.
From May 20 to August 16, the Museum of the Sea, Galata Museo del Mare
is showing Tales to the Wind, Racconti al vento by Stefano Lanzardo. From
the sails of the tall ship, the “Amerigo Vespucci” to the site specific
installation, Water Body, to a selection of photographs done with the light
brush technique, the 3 sections reflect the three souls of this artist from La
Spezia, who balances professional photography with experimentation.

Misteriosi esseri zoomorfi galleggiano nell’universo amniotico dei monocromi di
Lino Di Vinci che presenta le sue opere in una nuova veste: luminosa,
tecnologica e seriale. Con la mostra Illuminismo Lifeforms Art Studio - il suo
laboratorio galleria in vico del Fieno a Genova - si accende di pannelli, lightbox
e totem che uniscono l’arte pura al design. Arredano e possono essere
personalizzati dal cliente senza perdere di unicità. La forza espressiva dei suoi
lavori non è sfuggita alla Grimaldi Lines che li ha
scelti per caratterizzare le sue navi da crociera.
Illuminismo è una mutazione genetica dei
dipinti, pezzi unici, che Di Vinci realizza
utilizzando supporti e tecniche differenti: dalla
tela all’acciaio, dalle pitture ad olio all’aerografo.
Comune denominatore uno stile riconoscibile ed
originale - volutamente in bilico tra l’astrattismo
e il calligrafico di matrice orientale -
caratterizzato da colori rarefatti, punti di luce,
filamenti come fibre nervose vagamente cybor
che ci connettono ad uno spazio in cui nuove
tecnologie e manualità trovano una sintesi.
“Penso che i software di grafica, le immagini
virtuali a cui siamo ormai assuefatti non possano che influenzare il modo di fare
arte, anche quando si utilizzano strumenti per così dire tradizionali come la tela
e il pennello” afferma Lino Di Vinci. Nel suo show room non solo si possono
visionare i lavori esposti, come in una tradizionale galleria d’arte, ma è sempre
possibile incontrare l’artista, magari cogliendolo durante l’elaborazione di
un’opera. Questa è la novità dello spazio creativo che Di Vinci ha aperto proprio
sulla strada, per poter sempre essere in contatto con il pubblico.

technologies and manuality find a synthesis. “I think that the software for
graphics, the virtual images to which we are by now addicted, cannot but
influence the way we do art. This even when we use so-called traditional
instruments like the canvas and paintbrush,” affirms Lino Di Vinci. In his show
room visitors cannot only see his works exhibited, like in a traditional art
gallery, but it is always possible to meet the artist, perhaps catching him at
work on his latest masterpiece. This is the new feature of the creative space
that Di Vinci has opened directly onto the street, so that he remains
constantly in contact with his public.
