Il prete ligure porta in scena il frate che cinque secoli fa difese i poveri dalle prepotenze dei potenti.

The Ligurian priest presents Savonarola, the famous friar - who five centuries ago defended the

Dongallo, a Genova, si pronuncia tutto in
una volta, senza pause, quasi fosse un nome
d’arte. Crasi perfetta per un uomo che,
a 83 anni (da compiere il 18 luglio), ha alle spalle
almeno cinque vite: il giovane salesiano degli anni
’50 e ’60; il viceparroco del Carmine, che nel
1970 convinse gli operai a portare in spalla l’effigie
della Madonna; il fondatore e animatore della
comunità di San Benedetto al Porto, da oltre
trent’anni rifugio e punto di incontro per gli
emarginati, gli ultimi, i vinti di ogni lotta e ogni
generazione. E poi il movimentista instancabile di
questi anni, dal G8 del 2001 al No Dal Molin contro
la base americana a Vicenza, sino al Gay Pride,
dovunque ci sia da puntare un megafono in
