In the opinion of Klaus-Peter Müller, one problem is that
the current debates are over-emotional. Desires for revenge
on managers were widespread, he said, even
among politicians. “That is not helpful. We must call
managers to account, and certain misdemeanours may
no longer be regarded as pardonable. However, only the
managers are scolded, but not the supervisory boards
that approved the high salaries, for example. In addition
to which, the accusations are only justified in a few instances.
Consequently, this kind of global criticism and
discrimination must not be allowed to continue.”
Women’s quota: still a controversial issue
