SCHULKINO
School Cinema
Ebenfalls
im Schulkino zu sehen: Die liebevolle Verfilmung des Kinderbuchklassikers The Brave Adventures
of a Little Shoemaker, der in kürzester Zeit einer der erfolgreichsten kroatischen Familienfilme
The School Cinema is designed as a dialog event, to provide younger audiences the possibility
to see some movies from Central and Eastern Europe and later discuss them with their
filmmakers. One of the selected movies is a new documentary, Logbook Serbistan by Želimir
Žilnik and another one will be Chuck Norris vs. Communism, which shows in a funny way
how movies can become a threat for a repressive Ceauşescu regime. One of the highlights
will be the screening of Europa, Europa, which is a survivor story of Sally Perel. He will be present
during the screening to answer any questions. Another screening will be the children’s
classic, The Brave Adventures of a Little Shoemaker, which is one of the most successful Croatian
movies for children. The ticket for the LET’S CEE School Cinema is only 5 Euros and for accompanying
teachers entry is free. Comprehensive course materials will also be available free
of charge. It is possible to visit other School Cinema side events if there are a sufficient number
of available seats. For more information, please contact education@letsceefilmfestival.com.
