Meet & Greet-Lunches, Get Togethers
and Chillout-Zone
Die Strandbar Herrmann am Donaukanal, seit Jahren eine der angesagtesten Locations
in ganz Wien, wird über eine Woche lang im Zeichen des LET‘S CEE Film Festivals
2015 stehen. Dank der großartigen Unterstützung der beiden Geschäftsführer,
Alexander Kaiser und Rudi Konar, wird sie bereits zum dritten Mal als Chillout-Bereich
für geladene Festivalgäste und das Publikum dienen. Zwischen dem 1. und dem 11.
Oktober verwandelt sich insbesondere der Pavillon in einen frei zugänglichen Treffpunkt
für Filme macher und Filmliebhaber. Besondere Höhepunkte sind dabei die Meet &
Greet- Lunches, die täglich zwischen 12.00 und 14.00 Uhr stattfinden. Hier kann sich
jedermann zu besonders günstigen Preisen vom reichhaltigen Buffet verwöhnen lassen.
Und mit etwas Glück ganz nebenbei internationale Filmschaffende aus dem gesamten
CEE-Raum persönlich kennenlernen und sich mit ihnen austauschen. Am 3.
sowie am 4. Oktober wird in Kooperation mit der Vienna Business Week überdies jeweils
ein Networking Brunch veranstaltet, der ganz unter dem Motto „Let‘s talk about Film
Business" stehen wird. Auch kulturell ist hier einiges los: Am 4. Oktober um 18.00 Uhr
sowie am 10. Oktober um 16.00 Uhr wird es im Pavillon bei freiem Eintritt Lesungen
des polnischen Autors Marcin Szczygielski geben. Am 8. Oktober um 18.00 Uhr wird
zudem Goran Vojnović sein Buch Chefurs Raus! präsentieren. Eine Master Class und eine
frei zugängliche Präsentation des Europäischen Film Festivals (am 10. Oktober um 18.00
Uhr) runden das Programmangebot im Pavillon ab. Last but not least werden am 1., 3.,
4., 5., 6. 7. und 8. Oktober ab 22.00 Uhr DJs und Live-Acts für beste Stimmung sorgen.

Strandbar Herrmann on the Danube Canal, one of the hippest locations in the whole of
Vienna, will be taken over by the LET’S CEE Film Festival for more than a week. Thanks to
great support from the bar’s two managers, Alexander Kaiser and Rudi Konar, the beach
bar will - for the third time - serve as the Festival’s chillout area, where both invited festival
guests and audience members can gather. From 1st to 11th October, the bar’s Pavilion
will become a freely-accessible meeting point for film makers and film lovers. Particular
highlights will be the Meet & Greet Lunches, taking place daily between 12.00 and 14.00.
Here you can indulge in the rich buffet offerings, and with a bit of luck possibly meet and
interact with international film makers from across the CEE spectrum. On both Saturday
3rd October and Sunday 4th October there will be a Networking Brunch on the theme,
“Let’s talk about Film Business,” in cooperation with Vienna Business Week. There will also
be a lot going on in the cultural sphere at Strandbar Herrmann: On Sunday 4th October
at 18.00 and Saturday 10th October at 16.00 there will be readings by Polish author
Marcin Szczygielski, with free admission to the pavilion. And Goran Vojnović will be presenting
his book Chefurs Raus! on Thursday 8th October at 18.00. One Master Class and
one open presentation by the European Film Festival (Saturday 10th October at 18.00)
will round off the programme offerings at the pavilion. Last but not least, there will be
DJs and live acts lifting the spirits on 1st, and then 3rd - 8th October at 22.00 each night.
