Im zweiten Teil der erfolgreichen Fußball-Saga aus Serbien geht es in die Hauptstadt Uruguays. Nach einer
langen Zugfahrt und einer anstrengenden mehrwöchigen Reise über den Atlantik, kommt die neu gegründete
Nationalmannschaft des damaligen Königreichs Jugoslawien am Austragungsort der Fußball-WM 1930
an. Das Team vom Balkan ist hier völlig unbekannt und klarer Außenseiter. Niemand gibt ihm eine Chance.
Die Spieler müssen in einem billigen Hotel einchecken und gleich einmal gegen die Stars der schon damals
berühmten Nationalmannschaft aus Brasilien antreten. Die ungewohnte Umgebung, allerhand romantische
Versuchungen, listige Fußballagenten, Rivalitäten untereinander – an Ablenkungen mangelt es nicht.
Tirke, Moša und ihre Kollegen lassen sich dadurch letztlich aber trotzdem nicht von ihrem Weg abbringen.
Sie sind voller Zuversicht, haben eine Vision, vertrauen auf ihr Talent, beweisen Durchhaltevermögen und
gehen erhobenen Hauptes in das Stadion – wo sie dann tatsächlich Brasilien zum Auftakt besiegen und sehr
viel Aufmerksamkeit auf sich ziehen. Als nächster Gegner warten die Kolumbianer. Und dann... Schaffen sie
die ganz große Sensation? Auch die Fortsetzung des Kinohits über einen der wichtigsten sporthistorischen
Meilensteine Jugoslawiens kam beim Publikum sehr gut an und wurde sogar für den Auslands-Oscar nominiert.
Part two of the successful football tale from Serbia brings us to the capital of Uruguay. After a long train
ride and and exhausting weeks of travelling across the Atlantic Ocean, the newly-formed national team
of what was then the Kingdom of Yugoslavia arrives at the venue of the 1930 FIFA World Cup. Here, the
Balkan team is completely unknown and clearly the underdog. Nobody believes the team has any chance.
The players have to check into a cheap hotel, and in their very first match, they are to face the stars of the
Brazilian national team that was already famous at the time. The unfamiliar surroundings, an abundance of
romantic temptations, sly football agents, rivalries between the team members themselves – there is no
shortage of distractions. In the end, however, Tirke, Moša and their colleagues do not let any of that get
them off track. They are confident, have a vision, trust in their talents, display stamina and enter the stadium
with their heads held high – where they actually beat Brazil in the opening match, attracting a lot of attention.
Their next opponents are the Colombians. And then... Will they achieve the impossible? The sequel
of the box office hit about one of the most important landmarks in the sports history of Yugoslavia was
very well received by the audience. It was even nominated for the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film.

Biografie Dragan Bjelogrlić
Der Regisseur, Produzent und Schauspieler Dragan
Bjelogrlić wurde 1963 in Opovo, Serbien, geboren.
Mit fünfzehn Jahren stand er erstmals vor der
Kamera. In den 1980er Jahren avancierte er zu einem
anerkannten Schauspieler der jugoslawischen Kinound
Fernsehlandschaft. Montevideo: Taste of a Dream
war sein Regiedebüt und ebenso wie die Fortsetzung
See You in Montevideo ein Riesenerfolg. Zuletzt war
Dragan Bjelogrlić, der zusammen mit seinem älteren
Bruder Goran die Produktionsfirma Cobra Films führt,
als Schauspieler in Monument to Michael Jackson zu
sehen, der 2014 im LET’S CEE Spielfilm-Wettbewerb
präsentiert wurde.
