Der serbische Regisseur und kritische Intellektuelle Želimir Žilnik gilt als einer der wichtigsten
Vertreter des europäischen Kinos. Er hat bereits in jungen Jahren einen Goldenen
Bären gewonnen und ist einer der Mitbegründer des jugoslawischen Novi Films sowie
des Genres Dokudrama. Zu LET‘S CEE kommt er mit seiner, aufgrund der politischen
Entwicklungen, topaktuellen Dokumentation Logbook Serbistan.
Želimir Žilnik, Serbian film director and intellectual critic, is considered one of the most
important representatives of European Cinema. At an early age Žilnik was awarded the
Golden Bear award. He is also a co-founder of the Yugoslavian Novi Film and of the
so-called “Docudrama” genre. At LET’S CEE he will show his documentary Logbook Serbistan,
which is highly-topical, given current political developments.
Master Class „Among the People”
Der Großteil aller seiner Arbeiten beinhalten soziales Engagement, Humor bzw. groteske
sowie komödiantische Elemente und explizit politische Kritik. In dieser Master Class
wird Žilnik seine Art des Filmemachens anhand von Filmbeispielen erläutern. Bei dieser
Master Class ist der Besuch des Films Logbook Serbistan inkludiert. Zeit und Ort: 2. Oktober,

Tomasz Raczek
Tomasz Raczek ist der wohl bekannteste Filmkritiker Polens. Er hat eine erfolgreiche
Karriere in der Medien- und Theaterwelt gemacht und war in führenden Positionen tätig.
Heute leitet er unter anderem seinen eigenen Verlag Latarnik und betreibt zudem einen
bekannten Videoblog. Aber auch als Gestalter, Präsentator und Verantwortlicher für zahlreiche
Fernseh- und Radioprogramme zum Thema Film ist er nach wie vor sehr erfolgreich.
Tomasz Raczek is probably Poland’s best-known film critic. He had a success ful
career in the media and theatre world and worked in leading positions. Today Raczek
runs Latarnik, his own publishing company, and operates a well-known video blog.
However, he is also successful as creator, presenter and producer of various TV and
radio shows concerning film.
Master Class „Cinematherapy”
In einem Kinosaal schauen sich alle ein- und denselben Film an – aber sehen sie auch
ein- und denselben Film? „Kinopassana“ steht für die Verbindung von filmischer Analyse
in Gesprächsform mit Elementen der Mediationstechnik. Erstaunlich, aber wahr: Die
Therapiemethode kann tatsächlich realitätserweiternd und lebensbereichernd wirk en.
Bei dieser Master Class ist der Besuch des Films Carte Blanche inkludiert. Zeit und Ort: 3.

of a talk with elements of mediation. Astonishing but nonetheless true, this method of
therapy can help you expand your perception of reality and be life-enriching. Participation
