David Fisher
geboren 1956 in Israel. 1980 bis 1983 Studium Regie und Produktion
an der Filmhochschule in Tel Aviv. Seit 1989 Filme als Autor, Regisseur
und Produzent. Reshimat Ahava / Love Inventory (2000) ist sein
bekanntester Film. Seit 1999 leitet er The New Israeli Foundation for
Cinema and Television, Israels wichtigstes Dokumentarfilm-Institut.
Er ist Mitglied beim MEDEA-Projekt für EU-Mittelmeer-Koproduktionen,
im Vorstand des Festivals DocAviv und unterrichtet künstlerischen
Dokumentarfilm. Born 1956 in Israel. Graduate of the Tel
Aviv University Cinema and Television School; majored in production
and direction. He has been writing, producing and directing documentaries
since 1989. Love Inventory is his best known film. Director
of The New Israeli Foundation for Documentary Cinema and Television
since 1999, where he teaches creative documentary filmmaking.
Member of MEDEA and board member of the DocAviv Festival.
Renée Gagnon
geboren in Montréal. Studium der Künste in Montréal und Paris. Ab
1979 leitete sie Animatógrafo, Distribuição de Filmes, Lda. in Lissabon
und brachte unzählige Independent Filme nach Portugal. 1983 gründete
sie Uniportugal, einen Weltvertrieb für portugiesisches Kino,
2001 Marfilmes, den heute erfolgreichsten Anbieter audiovisueller
Medien im portugiesischen Sprachraum. Sie war Jury-Mitglied bei
Globos de Ouro und beim Festival Tout Écran in Genf. Als Malerin ist
sie in Galerien und Museen weltweit vertreten. Born in Montréal, she
received a degree in painting from the Fine Arts School, and studied
fine arts in Paris. In 1979 she became director of the Animatógrafo,
Distribuição de Filmes, Lda. in Lisbon. In 1983 she created Uniportugal,
a company to promote and sell Portuguese cinema, in 2001 Marfilmes,
which is now the most important distributor of audiovisual
works of the Portuguese world. She was member of the jury of the
“Globos de Ouro”, and at Tout Écran in Geneva. As a painter, she is
represented in many museums around the world.
Walter Greifenstein
Geboren 1954 in Regensburg. Er schloss nach einem einjährigen
Gaststudium in den Vereinigten Staaten sein Amerikanistikstudium
1982 mit dem Magister ab. Danach arbeitete er als freier Übersetzer,
Lektor und Musiker. Seit 1988 beim Bayerischen Fernsehen. Dort ist
er als Redakteur und Produzent für Spielfilm- und Dokumentarfilmplätze
zuständig, zuletzt als Koproduzent von Thomas Riedelsheimer
und Douglas Wolfsperger. Er ist Mitglied der Rockband Little Heads.
Born 1954 in Regensburg / Bavaria. After a year long fellowship as
foreign student in the U.S. he graduated in American Studies as M.A.
For years he freelanced as a translator, editor and musician. In 1988
he joined Bavarian Television where he works as a commissioning
editor for documentaries and feature films. His latest projects include
co-productions with Thomas Riedelsheimer and Douglas Wolfsperger.
He is a member of the rock-band Little Heads.
