Matrix<br />

The submission strongly objects to<br />

rezoning <strong>of</strong> SP2 land for housing,<br />

commercial etc. This effects the playing<br />

fields at Small Road <strong>Ryde</strong> which are<br />

currently used by the community for a<br />

variety <strong>of</strong> recreational activities.<br />

The version <strong>of</strong> the Matrix that was<br />

available during the community<br />

comment exhibition period was the<br />

relevant matrix to use at that time.<br />

The matrix on formal exhibition is in<br />

accordance with latest version<br />

released from DoPI known as Land<br />

Use Matrix DOP version 3.0.<br />

Council resolved on 14 February<br />

that an amended s65 Certificate be<br />

requested from DoPI that does not<br />

rezone any current SP2 land to any<br />

other purpose. This request was<br />

supported by DoPI.<br />

As such all land zoned SP2 in LEP<br />

2010 has been maintained in DLEP<br />

2011 with the exception <strong>of</strong> SP2 land<br />

under a specific resolution such as<br />

390 Pittwater Rd , North <strong>Ryde</strong> and<br />

minor SP2 Classified Road<br />

boundary changes requested by the<br />

RTA.<br />
