clauses relating to flood management that<br />
are included in the draft Plans.<br />
Under the Seniors Housing SEPP ,<br />
Seniors housing including hostels can be<br />
approved in all residential zones. The<br />
SEPP prevails over the provisions <strong>of</strong> a<br />
local planning instrument.<br />
CoR Local Planning Study identified that<br />
under DLEP <strong>Ryde</strong> LGA will achieve its<br />
residential housing targets set in the Metro<br />
Strategy.<br />
The LEP identified that residential growth<br />
should occur in close proximity to centres<br />
and services. The 3 nominated precincts<br />
are located at some distance from a<br />
centre.
