As previously noted when<br />
considering the <strong>Ryde</strong> Local Planning<br />
Study, Council directed that the LEP<br />
building heights in Shepherds Bay<br />
should accommodate 6 storeys<br />
maximum.<br />

In 2007 Council resolved to<br />
consider demolition <strong>of</strong> the heritage<br />
item in order to upgrade stormwater<br />
infrastructure in the event <strong>of</strong><br />
downstream development. Regardless<br />
the building still possesses heritage<br />
significance and will be retained on the<br />
heritage list. This may result in an<br />
archival recording.<br />

Draft DCP 2011 is not<br />
addressed at this time and will be<br />
addressed at a later date.<br />
