Attachment 7 - Council report 24 July 2012 - Draft Ryde LEP 2011 - Submissions
The DLEP 2011 has been prepared based
on the:
- provisions of LEP 2010
- amendment to S1
- Recommendations of the Local
Planning Study (LPS) adopted by
Council on 7 December 2010
The preparation of both the LEP and LPS
were research and involved a range of
consultations with the community.
The preparation of the plans were
undertaken in consultation with adjoining
councils – consideration is given to the
zoning of land and the need for
environmental protection
The provision of linkages is identified in
the integrated Open Space Strategy
presently being developed. This is a high
level document that once adopted by
Council will result in the development of
management plans to guide the provisions
and use of open space including zoning of
land and linkages to active transport
corridors.
