The properties that have been<br />

identified for rezoning are zoned under<br />

DLEP 2011 SP2, R2, B1, and RE1.<br />

Council resolved on 14 February 2012<br />

that an amended s65 Certificate be<br />

requested from DoPI that does not<br />

rezone any current SP2 land to any<br />

other purpose. This request was<br />

supported by DoPI.<br />

Based on the Council resolution the<br />

rezoning <strong>of</strong> SP2 land is not supported.<br />

It is considered that to enable<br />

comprehensive consideration <strong>of</strong> the<br />

rezoning <strong>of</strong> council land and to allow<br />

appropriate community comment a<br />

planning proposal should be submitted
