An Integrated Open Space Strategy<br />
for the <strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Ryde</strong> is presently being<br />
developed. This is a high level<br />
document that once adopted by<br />
Council will result in the development<br />
<strong>of</strong> management plans to guide the<br />
provisions and use <strong>of</strong> open space<br />
including zoning <strong>of</strong> land and linkages<br />
to active transport corridors.<br />
Council’s Open Space Unit have<br />
commenced a program <strong>of</strong> reviewing<br />
the E2 zones within the <strong>City</strong>. The<br />
review program was a<br />
recommendation <strong>of</strong> the Local Planning
