It is noted that the DLEP 2011<br />

makes limited amendments to the<br />

controls in MPC.<br />

Concerns raised are that; -<br />

<strong>Attachment</strong> 7 - Council report 24 July 2012 - Draft <strong>Ryde</strong> LEP 2011 - Submissions<br />

Hotel and motel accommodation is<br />

permitted in the B4 and B3 zones<br />

within Macquarie Park.<br />

As identified in previous submissions<br />

FSR and Heights for Macquarie Park<br />

are presently under review.<br />

It is not considered appropriate for<br />

Council to be involved in benefiting<br />

specific land uses within in any zone.<br />

The incentive clause was removed<br />

from DLP 2011 on the grounds that<br />

DLEP 2010 – Amendment 1 would<br />

contain the incentive requirements for<br />

the provision <strong>of</strong> the infrastructure –<br />

road network and open space. The<br />

delay in progression <strong>of</strong> Amendment 1
