LEP’s Clause 6.3 Foreshore<br />
Building Line, any future<br />
amendments to the LEP may require<br />
the new Model Provision LEP<br />
clauses and mapping relating to land<br />
identified as ‘projected 2050 flood<br />
planning area’ and ‘projected 2100<br />
flood planning area’.<br />

Such sites are controlled by State<br />
Government legislation and the list <strong>of</strong> sites<br />
are confidential.<br />
Council is in partnership with the<br />
Aboriginal Heritage Office, which has<br />
recently completed an assessment and<br />
management plan on aboriginal cultural<br />
heritage places. The outcomes <strong>of</strong> this<br />
work was forwarded to the NSW Office <strong>of</strong><br />
Environment and Heritage.<br />
DLEP 2011 introduces Clause 6.5<br />
Flooding which is supported by DCP 2011<br />
Part 8.6 Floodplain Management.<br />
All Das received for lands identified as<br />
flood affected and reviewed by<br />
appropriate staff with additional studies<br />
being provided where necessary .<br />
