This third Part focuses on the possible
basis for a new global partnership for
development by looking at three key
drivers of global partnership: flows of
money, goods and people. It examines
the international environment these
create toward enabling developing
countries to pursue their own development
priorities. These issues are
treated in three thematic chapters
on development finance (Chapter 7),
trade and investment (Chapter 8), and
labour migration (Chapter 9), each
looking into their existing and potential
impact on poverty reduction, and at the
international policies that govern them.
