You must declare the goods on importation and present the export licence issued in Russia.
Customs collaborates closely with the Antiquities Department, and it can retain any
object that is suspected to have been imported illicitly (for example, in violation of Russian
export regulations). In such cases objects can be confiscated. No duties are payable on
import of cultural goods.
