Apparatus Theatre Group performs ‘Doors’ at <strong>the</strong> Golden Mask Theatre Festival in Es<strong>to</strong>nia. This <strong>Russia</strong>n–<br />

Es<strong>to</strong>nian co-production was developed <strong>between</strong> TSEH Festival in Moscow <strong>and</strong> Kanuti Gildi Saal in Tallinn.<br />

The piece was premiered in Tallinn in 2005 <strong>and</strong> returned <strong>to</strong> Golden Mask in Tallinn <strong>and</strong> Tartu in November<br />

2006. Apparatus is a Moscow-based contemporary kinetic <strong>the</strong>atre dance company whose work is acclaimed<br />

across <strong>Russia</strong> <strong>and</strong> Europe: http://apparatus.dance-net.ru/. Golden Mask is a national <strong>the</strong>atre festival held<br />

every year in Moscow. Since 2005 a selection <strong>of</strong> work has been presented at Golden Mask festival in<br />

The National Heritage Board (NHB) is a government body, affiliated <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> Ministry <strong>of</strong> Culture.<br />

It is charged with <strong>the</strong> direction <strong>of</strong> conservation activity <strong>and</strong> state supervision <strong>of</strong> monuments<br />

<strong>and</strong> heritage protection areas, maintaining <strong>the</strong> national register <strong>of</strong> <strong>cultural</strong> monuments<br />

<strong>and</strong> issuing licences for <strong>the</strong> <strong>export</strong> <strong>of</strong> objects <strong>of</strong> <strong>cultural</strong> value.<br />

Do I need an <strong>export</strong> licence?<br />

For <strong>the</strong> <strong>export</strong> <strong>to</strong> <strong>Russia</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>cultural</strong> <strong>goods</strong> as defined by Council Regulation 3911/92 you<br />

need <strong>to</strong> apply for <strong>the</strong> EU <strong>export</strong> licence.<br />

<strong>and</strong> a national <strong>export</strong> licence or permit is requested as well as <strong>the</strong> EU <strong>export</strong> licence.<br />
