istic essence as in the preceding cases, 1 the twenty varieties<br />
of defiling elements which have been mentioned are<br />
removed. By this the seventh Stage (of the Bodhisattya)<br />
is conditioned. It is called "the Far-reaching",<br />
since the activity of the Bodhisattva has an exceedingly<br />
wide and extensive sphere, this owing to the connection<br />
with the Path that is right and completely free from effort.<br />
